How is Embrace different from other consulting services for employment of people with disabilities?

Our goal is not only to hire people with disabilities, but to improve the mental health of all employees and to create a diverse organization. We also provide consultation on issues that HR personnel face, such as managing not only employees with disabilities but also those who may have mental health issues.

How is the retention support different from that of Support Center for Handicapped People's Employment (known as Shuurou Ikou Shien Jigyousyo)?

Companies pay no costs for the services of Support Center for Handicapped People's Employment, but because it functions as a welfare service to recipients, it prioritizes them. Therefore, the direction of support may sometimes differ from the company's goals. Embrace consultants have both a business and mental health perspective and aim to make employment beneficial for both the company and the employee.

Are we eligible for retention support subsidies?

Yes, you may be eligible to receive up to 120,000 yen* per month in subsidies for employment of persons with disabilities. Embrace provides free advice on the procedures to apply for the grant, but the application itself must be submitted by the company.
*40,000 yen per mentally disabled employee, up to a maximum of three employees.

How is coaching different from counseling?

Coaching involves setting a goal to solve an existing problem and helping the person to take action to achieve it. Counseling helps people to sort out their feelings and deepen their self-understanding by talking about their problems and anxieties. Counseling would be a more in-depth approach to the deeper aspects of the mind.

Can I start with one coaching or counseling session?

Of course, you can receive coaching or counseling even for a single session. If your goal is comprehensive, multiple sessions may be necessary. We will provide you with an assessment of your needs initially and ask your preference.
